ABOUT ME

How did I get here?

I grew up in Golden, Colorado and will always love the Colorado mountains. I went to college at Colorado State University. After finishing my MA at CSU, I moved to Washington, DC for a new adventure at the National Science Foundation, where I was inspired by the incredible, cutting edge social science research supported by the NSF to return to graduate school and complete my PhD. Political psychology has always been a passion of mine, so moving to Minneapolis and attending the University of Minnesota's doctoral program in political science was a perfect fit. After falling in love with Minnesota, I am thrilled to be teaching in Carleton College's Department of Political Science.
